LITERASI: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Indonesia is committed to upholding the academic integrity and originality of all published articles. To ensure that all manuscripts submitted are free from plagiarism, the journal applies a strict plagiarism screening policy as part of the editorial and peer review process.
Plagiarism Check Process

Initial Screening
Every manuscript submitted to the journal is subject to a plagiarism check using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before being reviewed by editors and reviewers. -
Similarity Threshold
The acceptable similarity index for submitted articles is maximum 25%, excluding references, quotations, and methodological similarities. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected. -
Types of Plagiarism Detected
The journal screens for:-
Direct Plagiarism: Copying text without quotation or citation.

Self-Plagiarism: Republishing one's own previously published work without disclosure.

Mosaic Plagiarism: Borrowing ideas or phrases without proper citation.

Improper Paraphrasing: Rewriting someone else’s work too closely without credit.

Editorial Action
If plagiarism is detected:-
Before publication: the manuscript will be rejected or sent back for revision.

After publication: the article may be retracted and proper notification will be issued.

Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their work and are encouraged to check for unintentional plagiarism before submission.
Software Used
Currently, the journal uses Turnitin for plagiarism screening.
